Even if I were to sit and think for hours, days, months, years, no amount of words or images could convey the depth, sincerity of gratitude felt to Iris Holidays for ararnging my stay at Ponmala Homes.

I stayed at Ponmala Homes in the build up to Easter and have not experienced a holiday quite like this before. Firstly the natural beauty of the surroundings was breathtaking and reflected every colour of the spectrum, the hospitality of the locals was humbling and the local cuisine was scrumptious! I was lucky enough to experience a number of different tourist trips run by my hosts every day and each day brought a new experience and memories for me to treasure. I thoroughly enjoyed the cooking lessons and am eager to try out my new recipes! For those who enjoy challenges, then the hike to the top of Ponmala mountain/hill will test your physical fitness as well as your perseverance but the view from the top is worth it. I had the priviledge of hiking to the top on Palm Sunday and was surrounded by pilgrims on a cause which was a humbling experience and sends shivers through your spine.

All in all, Iris Holidays is a highly recommended hostand Ponmala homes and area of India should you wish to experience the a personal insight to life in Malayattoor. Ponmala Homes and Iris Holidays are a precious treasure to Kerala.
